Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

bastard, you sunk my battleship!

Any number can enter. There are 15 multiple choice questions of increasing difficulty. If you get one wrong you're out and you win the last "milestone" amount you reached (i.e. bugger all, £1000, or £32,000). You can choose to take the wonga at any point. Apart from when using "phone a friend" to keep in the spirit of the game you must answer the questions without recourse to reference material or other human beings / computers.

As with the TV show you have three lifelines, which may be used once each. Unlike the TV show you can only use one of them for a particular question. [Optional rule - if you make £32,000 you get an extra lifeline of your choice - it can be any of the three - doesn't matter if you've used it or not].

1) 50-50 - here you simply supply two letters, and if one is right you proceed.

2) Ask the Audience - the most popular answer supplied by other contestants becomes yours.

3) Phone a Friend - you may look up the answer in an encyclopaedia, search the net, ask your mum, dog, wife, milkman, pet fish called Gerald etc.

Note that with no. 2 you should supply a reserve answer in case you're the only one left in! The reserve answer is also used as a tie breaker in the event of a tie for most popular answer - if the reserve answer is not the same as one of the equal most popular choices then flip a coin.
