The Race version 1.0 by Allan Stagg 2004 1. Players will race over a 20-space course. The first player to pass space 20 is the winner. If two or more players pass space 20 on the same turn the player who finished furthest past space 20 is the winner. 2. Each turn a player will select a number between 0 and 6 that represents the number of spaces he wishes to move. 3. Players will move the number of spaces they have selected EXCEPT that the player(s) selecting the highest number will not move at all in that turn. 4. If a player plays the unique highest number, and is thus penalised, he gains an exemption. On the next turn he will suffer no penalty for playing the highest number.
